For the expansion of an existing packaging line, AGS developed a modular conveyor system with a cross conveyor belt and automated layer formation. Different profile variants are counted, aligned, grouped by type and prepared for subsequent palletising.
Project highlights
Belt and roller conveyors for profiles as well as empty and full crates
Cut-resistant conveyor belts with 50–125 m/min
Sensor-controlled layer formation with servo drive
Pneumatic clamping for precise transfers
Profile lengths from 400–1,000 mm
Software-based right/left distribution and optional QA discharge
