COMPANY HISTORY

What began in 2003 as a one-person company at TechnoZ Ried has grown step by step into a well-established specialist in automation technology. From the outset, AGS continuously expanded its range of expertise: in 2005, the company established its own EPLAN department, followed soon after by 2D and 3D vision systems and additional control platforms. At the same time, its robotics capabilities were steadily expanded with systems from KUKA, ABB, FANUC and Motoman.

As the company continued to grow, so did its need for space. Following several expansions of its production and office facilities, AGS moved into its new headquarters in Aurolzmünster in 2015. This made it possible to integrate development, engineering, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning even more closely.

From 2019 onwards, AGS increasingly developed into a full-service provider of automation solutions, including mechanical components and complete custom-built systems. At the same time, the team grew to around 50 employees.

Another major milestone followed in 2022 with the expansion of the company premises by approximately 1,000 m². Since then, additional office space and a larger assembly hall have provided the capacity to build, test and prepare even large and complex robotic systems for commissioning entirely in-house.

Today, more than 50 employees at AGS work on automation solutions from the initial idea through to the completed system. One thing has remained unchanged over the years: our commitment to viewing technical challenges as a whole and developing solutions that perform reliably in day-to-day industrial operations over the long term.
