AGS has implemented an end-of-line palletising system that takes cardboard containers from several packaging lines, checks them, forms them into stable layers and palletises them automatically. Non-compliant units are rejected; empty and full pallets are fed in and out automatically.
Project highlights
Automatic end-of-line solution for multiple packaging lines
Camera-aided inspection of cardboard containers
Multi-stage conveying and layer formation
Vacuum-based robotic palletising
Automatic interlayers for layer securing
Discharge of non-compliant units
Automatic pallet infeed and discharge
Application & machining processes
Single-variety transfer of cardboard packaging
Camera inspection and formation of stable layers
Robot-assisted stacking on multiple pallet positions
Insertion of non-slip intermediate layers as required
Automatic discharge of finished pallets
Operating & control concept
