🔬 Science Night (Lange Nacht der Forschung) at AGS 🦾
On April 24, 2026, we opened the doors to our facility in Aurolzmünster and, as part of the Austria-wide Science Night (Lange Nacht der Forschung), had the opportunity to show just how exciting automation, robotics, and industrial data can be.
We were delighted to welcome around 175 guests of all ages and to see such great interest in our company. At our hands-on stations, visitors could experience automation, robotics, and industrial data firsthand. Those who made their way through all the stations gained new knowledge step by step and were able to use it to solve the escape room puzzle at the seventh station.
A big thank you goes to the motivated AGS team, who kept their cool despite the large crowds and conveyed our content with great enthusiasm. It is very important to us to inspire young people to pursue technical careers. That’s why we’re committed year-round to introducing children and young people to STEM topics. For example, through the AGS Academy, apprenticeship partnerships, collaborations with technical schools in the region, mentor classes, and events like Berufserlebnistage (Career Experience Days).
Thank you to the national and regional organizing teams, especially TechnoZ Ried, as well as to all the researchers who visited us on Friday. 🙌 We were also particularly delighted that so many AGS employees and their families stopped by.
Here’s what there was to discover at AGS:
