ROBOT WELDING FROM LOT SIZE 1
Division: Automation, Robotic
Offline CAM, robot simulation and fast actual value correction is the new robot programming!
For a welding cell that welds highly complex geometries, we have used several forward-looking technologies at once.
In order not to overwhelm the operator with teaching robot positions in batch size 1, the robot welding programs are generated offline with a CAM postprocessor, collisions are avoided despite difficult accessibility and component tolerances are effortlessly compensated for with additional software packages.
With a Kuka welding robot and the KP5-axis swivel table, components can be welded and clamped simultaneously.
Customer benefits
- High productivity with only one system operator
- Consistently high quality with high
component diversity
- High degree of digitalisation with CAM / offline connection
- Process sequence
- Complete engineering and electrical and mechanical assembly
Software development for robot, five-axis positioner and Siemens safety PLC - Assembly, commissioning and training
PROCESSING CENTRE FOR FOAMED PANELS
Division: Robotics, IT-application
The machining centre can machine foamed panels of different sizes on both sides (holes, pockets, openings).
At the infeed tunnel, a roller conveyor takes over a panel. It is positioned precisely and fixed to a frame with vacuum suction cups. A milling robot machines the exposed side of the panel with the required tools. For the machining of the second side, the panel is automatically reclamped. Afterwards, the panel is transported out and transferred to the discharge tunnel.
Using an IT application (DXF converter), the machining data of the panels can be derived from CAD drawings and transferred to the robot control.
Customer benefits
- High productivity with only one system operator
- Easy implementation of new workpieces through DXF converter
- High level of plant safety thanks to modern safety technology
Process flow
E-Engineering and switch cabinet construction
- Software development for robots and Siemens safety PLC
- Visualisation on Siemens Comfort Panel
- Commissioning and training
- Compilation of the technical documentation for the entire plant on behalf of the manufacturer (incl. preparation of the risk assessment and the operating instructions)
AUTOMATION PROFILING AND BENDING MACHINE
Division: Automation
The system profiles and bends sheet metal blanks.
A lifting gantry removes sheet blanks from a material stack and transfers them to a conveyor system. After the sheets have been aligned, they pass through a profiling machine that profiles one or both longitudinal edges of the blank. Finally, the sheets are bent automatically.
Corresponding recipe data sets are stored for different profiling and bending.
Customer benefits
- High productivity with only one plant operator
- Easy implementation of new workpieces with recipe editor
- High level of plant safety thanks to modern safety technology

SHAFT COVER MOUNTING AID
Division: Automation, Special machines
The assembly aid pulls silicone cover caps over the end of a metal shaft.
In the process, the machine removes the silicone covers from a bulk hopper, aligns them and then feeds them to a clamping device. The metal shafts are inserted into the assembly opening by hand by the operator
Customer benefits
- Significant acceleration of the work process
- Simple operation

BOTTLE PACKAGING LINE
Division: Robotics
The system packs filled cooking oil bottles into trays with the label facing forwards. The trays are closed with a lid, labeled by a printer and then palletised. A roller conveyor makes the pallets available for removal.
The line is currently designed for three bottle types in six carton variants.
Customer benefits
- High productivity with only one line operator
- Perfectly aligned labels for shelf sales
- Due to the increased capacity, the operator can now react faster to incoming orders
Process flow
- Creation of plant concept and mechanical design
- E-Engineering and control cabinet construction
- Software development for packaging robot, palletising robot and Siemens safety PLC
- Integration of the supplier components in the system (tray erector, lidder, Kuka Pick-Control)
- Visualisation on Siemens Comfort Panel
- Assembly, commissioning and training
