Duration of training: 3.5–4 years

The job:

  • Planning, installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and electronic systems and devices
  • Assembly and testing of switch and distribution cabinets
  • Programming of control systems
  • Laying of wires and cables and processing of materials
  • Troubleshooting of electrical components and systems
  • Installation of electrical safety measures
  • The electrical engineering apprenticeship is a modular apprenticeship
    • 2 years of basic training in the basic module of electrical engineering
    • 1.5 years of specialization in the main module of automation and process control technology
    • Option of an additional main module and a special module (0.5 years)
